How to Create a Screenshot and Post It on a Website

Here are the steps which will teach you how to create screenshots:

1. At first you need the open the window or the website of which you want to create a screenshot.

2. Once you have opened the window or the website for which you want to have a screenshot then have a look at your keyboard and you will find a button which says "Print Scr/Sys Rq”, once you find this button then click it and if you cannot find that button then look at the top most line of your keyboard. It is placed at the 14th number from the left and at the 3rd number from the right.

3. Once you have clicked this button then next you need to go to start menu then all programs then accessories and then click paint.

4. Once the paint window has opened then go to edit and click paste or just press Control + v, which is the shortcut key for paste

5. Now as you have pasted the screenshot in paint it might have some of your personal information which you don't want to share so you can edit the picture and hide all the private information for privacy.

6. After you have done the entire editing job then go to "file" menu and click "save as".

7. You can save the picture wherever you want to.

8. If you want to edit or crop your picture then right click on the picture and open the picture with Microsoft office picture manager.

9. After performing all the changes save the picture by going to the "file" menu and click "save as"

10. Now your screenshot is ready.

Now days the usage of screenshots has increased variously and now most of the people require screenshots for potting pictures in websites. If you want to know how you can post your screenshot in your website then here are the steps:

1. Go to www.tinypic.com/

2. Click the "browse" button and now select the screenshot which you have created and click open.

3. Once you have done that then you can select the size you want by selecting the size from the "resize" button.

4. Then click the "upload now" button.

5. After the screenshot is uploaded you will get various numbers of links. These links are for posting your screenshot in different forms. If you want to post your image in a forum then select the forums link for your screenshot. Similarly select the link according to your preference.

Or, you could simply have Macintosh OSX that has this capability as part of the system. You can pay it to a single keystroke and either capture the entire screen, or a selected portion of it. You can have it save to whatever location you choose. Then basic editing like resizing, cropping, color adjustments, etc. can be done with the preview App. No muss, no fuss. Just another reason way Macs or worth more. Of course, you could install OSX on your Windows system and get all of that for $29.

Firefox browser has a screengrab add-on that also does this, all open-source and free too :-)
